New posts still showing...

I personally don't have the problem but a moderator on my site says when he clicks "mark posts read" then leaves and comes back the new posts still show from before. This is what he said:

I'll click the mark as read , then leave and come back, and the same ones are lit up again that I have already looked at.

Let him clear his cookies.

This is probably a problem on his site.
