"Items" for sale

I require something which will allow me to sell "items".

By items i mean i have 50 spaces to fill - each at a cost.

What i want to be able to do is put up a page whereby users can buy a "space" and hence the number of available spaces drops by 1 - or however many spaces that last user buys. Once all "spaces" are bought - it closes to everyone, not allowing anyone else to buy.

I'm not fussed if it's not integrated with vb as i can probably do this.

Does anyone know of any such script or the like?

Tried hotscripts but nothing is coming up for me.
