parse error.. help lol · **Released**: 04-16-2005

Hi.. installed everything and it seemed to work. Till i click on the users profile.. then i get this.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected ')' in /home/myaddress/member.php on line 627

I editted member.php 3 times to make sure i wasn't missing anything.. but get the same result each time.

Any help?

I had the same issues as well with several parse errors and my problem was using notepad to read and copy the code. I was using the free Crimson editor to adjust the code but my mistake was using notepad as it reformats the code. If you are using anything other than a PHP Editing pad then that may very well be your problem here. It was for me and I am proud to say after hours of work last night/this morning the Advanced warning system works great.

Show us what you have at that line. Actually show us what you have some lines before and some lines after that line.

As for an editor, I am using Crimson, and it's just fine, but that's me, I like simple things.
