Hi guys, just wanting to know how i can make my forum redirect to /forum/portal/ when you go to the main url, like vb.org does

You can use one of three options. You can create an index.php page in the directory and add this code:

<? header('Location: ./path/to/directory'); ?>

Use apache and redirect it to the correct path or use browser refresh. I would recommend one of the first two and to be honest I wouldn't even use the php way.
