IP Addy Mod

Guys,
I'm looking for an IP addy hack.
I want my talkerbot to show an IP addy when it posts instead of it having an addy of 127.0.0.1 ... just to make it look a bit more realistic.

Any ideas on how I can acheive this?

Well 127.0.0.1 is very realistic, since the bot will be running from the localhost (server).

I don't know what bot script you are using, but you would need to find the piece of code that insert new posts, and set a fake IP there.

Yeah but I don't want people (My Mods) to know it's a bot, the 127.0.0.1 is a dead givaway.
There's something similar to what I'm looking for here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=48304 but it's for vB2 and I'm not sure what to look for in the vB3 files.

Is this a custom written Bot, or a hack you found here. If the last pelase provide a link.

Had a quick look in there. Try the following:

Open your ./_talkerbot.php, find "127.0.0.1" and replace it by any ip you want. This is 2 be done on 2 places.

PS Next time please post questions you have about a hack in the support thread for that hack. You will get a better and faster response most of the times.
