Editing Breadcrumbs ...

I'm lead to believe that the index.php file contains the code for the breadcrumbs, that says this is the default page. Now, I have used this script;

To create a seperate page. What I would like to do, is call this the default page, therefore becoming the first breadcrumb, rather than the second. You follow? I hope so
