Default Gmail accounts upgrading to 2GB
If you guys don't know what I am talking about, go to www.gmail.com and if you are logged in, log out and you'll see a part of the page where numbers are counting up to 2gb. Google started upgrading the accounts from 1GB to 2GB

wow, why the hell would you need so much space. 1gb is more than most people will ever need.

Only downside is that if you want to use that extra space the domainname for your mail will be changed from '@gmail.com' to '@2gmail.com'. Not very friendly if you must tell all your contacts the new domainname.

well the reason that you guys are getting for example 1124 or 1120 for your space is because of that counter. Whatever that counter has reached, you have that amount of space, when that counter reaches 2GB it will stop, and your total space becomes 2GB as well .

To tell you the truth the only reason that I love gmail is it's simplicity and also it has a good spam control feature. So far it has blocked all of the unwanted e-mails, mostly advertisings.

Yeah I saw the counter.

I love gmail too, will there be @2gmail.com or was that a joke? (ugly!).

AGREE ! Gmail the best, it's the most simple mailbox I've ever used.

im only using 25mb... thats insane

I love that counter going over there.... its great
