Suggestion - Default values on items and default spells · **Released**: 03-28-2005

This may seem small but we've spent the last month trying to find a balance in the values. Actually, we had the balance, and then the new version changed the hp and mp modifiers and then we had to start from scratch.

We really need some framework that we can base off and grow from. Otherwise we spend inexorable time with pissed off members because they got their butts whipped by another class with an overpowered item.

Love your hack, just wish I could get some semblence of balance to start with. :ermm:

I cannot give default values on items because theres so many thousand possible combinations.
What if a forum wants to make it super hard, thus setting EXP rate to 1, then sees their items having 100 buff (which is to them hella lot)? They will have to change everything.
Similar with the other way around.
But for a future version, I will make it possible to import/export item sheets, so you guys will be able to share your items. Then, if someone is willing to make them, I can offer "Easy - Medium - Hard" item sheets.
