Hot Threads/Topics Page
Would anyone know how to generate a page (much like New Posts Page) that would list all the HOT THREADS on your forums? I'm actually surprised this hasn't already been created. I poked around vb.org and was unable to find anything via search, "hot threads".
Thanks if anyone can help me out. Aceman |

Not a bad idea actually for a mod.
Threads are considered hot when they hit a certain amount of admin selectable views or replies. I am not sure what the query would be to pull the admin setting for it but you could probably achieve something along the lines by using a script with hard coded values. I think you might want to tag it onto vb's search functions though since I am sure it would be intesive if ran alot. You could probably do the query once or twice a day via cron and keep the list on a php page for members to look at. |

Most replies.. it's the same value that make the folder icon have flames on it.. I think that's based on replys.
