Personally I think my homepage sucks so I am going to modify it but what do you think about the rest of the site? It was actually easy to pull the information out of the vb database and put it on the homepage

Agreed with filburt here. Ridiculous amount of forums for a new board. Condense by merging, and expand as you get more activity.

All I can really say is YAGCF (Yet another general chat forum). If I had a dollar for every one of these, I'd be a rich man You should really try targetting a niche, and concentrating your audience IMO. There are far too many general forums nowadays

running a general chat forum myself i can say that it's not only hard getting the forum up and running, it's even harder keeping it active.

you have way too many forums and way too much of a default look regarding your forums.

start with as little forums as possible and expand from there i'm currently in the process of trying to get my forums down.

well i made some changes and combined some of the categories. hope it looks better now. im working on some custom buttons and stuff.

I like your header alot, the only style change I would make would be to make all the baby blues in your forums body some type of a rich dark navy blue, it would accent it a lot better! Good luch though
