to let you know who link you thread

Hello

is there anyway to let you know who have put a link to one of your thread in other website link there will be one icon in the thread and it will show all link to other website who have link your website and how many time they enter from that link etc. :nervous:

Well since you don't have access to all possible other websites, there is no way of knowing who and where linked to you.

The closest you could ever get is somehow do a search for your link in search engines like google, etc.. Not something i would like to do.

Another approach, but also far from perfect, would be to use referrer for that, but this is also not 100%. You could get a lot of false positive or false negative information.

thankyou for this info ... do u have any idea about referrer or is there any referrer hack to make like this job ?

Not that i know of, and since it would be very unreliable, i don't think anybody would want to make it.

PS maybe someone else who know a lot more on this subject then i could comment on this.
