Very nice design

I'd space your links on the navbar out a little and perhaps add a rollover state to them. Kind of hard to notice them there until you look specifically. Navigation should scream out at you

A dark layout may be appropriate for the site, but it's also damned impossible to read, IMO. At least use normal font sizes (not small); also, using a dark gray (or other very dark colored) background with white text would greatly help the readability.
