[REQUEST] Port the search articles block to CMPS search module
Developer Last Online: Aug 2012
Unsure where to post this, in CMPS or this forum, but would like to display 'search articles' under 'search forums' in my CMPS search module. Be the next best thing to integrating the searches.
Anything I ever do is painstakingly trial and error based, so I wanted to ask here first, before I bother trying to do this ... thanks for any help I can get! Show Your Support

Hint: just some html to add into your CMPS search module. |

Encouraged by your hint, I add the following to my search module (customized for my theme), and it looked great, but it doesn't return any results for me even when I search authors by my own name ...
Code:
<tr><td class="tcat"><div align=center><font size=2 color=red>$vbphrase[vbart_searchart]</font></div></td></tr> <tr><td class="alt1" align="left"> <form action="articles.php" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="hidden" name="action" value="dosearcharticle" /> <input type="text" name="keywords"><br> <select name="searchby"> <option value="searchall" selected>$vbphrase[vbart_searchall] <option value="title">$vbphrase[vbart_searchtitle] <option value="content">$vbphrase[vbart_searchcontent] <option value="author">$vbphrase[vbart_searchauthor] </select><br><br> <input type="submit" class="button" value="GO" accesskey="s" /> |
