I need something like VBindex, but, less complicated. Something to be included in the front of a website, for simple display for a news forum, kinda of like what we already have for our website, see

Front page (in the middle, under the "From the labs" section)

we're setting it up, still trying to get some things working (including the design)

I need to get all this stuff working before we fully switch over to VB

You can try vbadvanced cmps for a different flavor.
