It does this in another text editor I got too. Never used to do this on my other XP copy, started noticing it on this one when I was trying to edit files over FTP. I have to name files .txt, view them on my site in a browser, and copy the contents back into the file without the crazy formatting even to edit them. Really starting to bug me here. |

It can't parse the line breaks. Use a real text-editor - not notepad
![]() I reccomend UltraEdit or TextPad. I'm not going to start a debate on which one's best as there are a bazillion of these kinda posts online. Choose whichever one suits you best. |

Thank you Dean and Zachery! I'll get a better editor right now.
Which one is the most like notepad? I just want simplicity. I think I used TextPad before and it had the same problem. |
