V3arcade or ipProArcade?
As a title indicates, I'm asking for some opinions are which some of you like better over the other, and possibly why. I'm going add one of them in this weekend, but not sure which one to use.
Thanks pt |

My personal opinion remains that v3arcade is currently the better script, though ibProArcade does have more features, more games available to it and is well supported.

As I've read a coder's post, he said ipProarcade isn't well integrated with Vb, because from its name the code is freshly from IB, I didn't see the code myself but from that I don't really want to change to v3arcade.

I said something along those lines a while ago..
It was made to be a plugin for vBulletin instead of a whole new mod, and as such it tricks the arcade script in to thinking that the forum software it is installed on is an Invision Board and not a vBulletin. Apparantly this was done so that any plugins or updates made for ibProArcade can be brought over to the vBulletin version easily without the author having to update 2 lots of code. |

I'm running both
There are pros and cons to both arcades. With ibproarcade, you need to get used to the idea of making template changes in a php file rather than in a proper template. Once you get your head round that it's reasonably easy to modify. One thing I did find with ibproarcade is that quite a few of the style variables still show the Invision names, these need to be changed to their vBulletin equivalents or else you get odd breaks in the style, such as black boxes or things showing in the wrong colour. At the moment there is no legitimate source of games for v3arcade so you take your chance with potentially illegal games. ibproarcade has such a source, this may be a consideration for many. |

Thanks for the tips everyone. I think I want to install ibpro as it 'appears' to have more game options. But has anyone visited the www.ibprogames.com site lately? It appears the site is either down or being removed for copyright reasons.

The main site for the ibproarcade is www.ibproarcade.com but it seems to be having some database issues today. |

ibproarcade does have more games, but I was trying and unable to get even game from them so I just stay with v3arcade.
@Oblivion Knight, absolutely not from you but hey thanks for the point out. |

v3arcade all the way! Mainly because it's integrated with vBulletin, while IBP makes your arcade look more like IPB.
