Hiya !!
I'm running version 3.0.3 How can i make it so as guests and users that are not logged in, get "Register To View Content" of the forum, rather than the last post. I've looked at the options for the user group and can turn forum/posts on or off, but no-where to make that notice. ?? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Upgrade...to version 3.0.6 I've tried, and all that happens is, i log back into my admin control. I've followed the instructions on the screen, uploaded to the correct spot and typed the URL, this takes me to my admin log in, after log in, its just the normal control pannel..?? Any help please ?? Thanks in advance Matt :ermm: |

'Last post' in the forumhome/forum listing? If so, that would just be a simple template edit.

Sorry folks. What I mean is...
When I try to upgrade I get to the part where you have to type in /fourm/upgrade (or what ever) and thats where the fault is. I type in that, and it takes me to my admin login page, i log in and its just the normal admin page. The download from vB is ok, I unzip the file, and remove the 2 files that the instructions tells me too, and then upload it with WS_FTP to my site (in the public html folder where the rest of the stuff is) that all goes ok, and thats all that happens ! As for the other thing. When you are not logged in or if you are a guest, you can see all the forums, but insted of saying "No posts" it shows "register to view content" Is that a code change ?? |
