Auto Forward to thread or post (e-mail)
I have an alert system that sends me e-mails for a program I use. What I am looking for is the ability to have a certain e-mail adress that receives this alert forward it into a post or thread.
If this is anyway possible please let me know! Thanks, Fiber |

I would be interested in getting this developed as well.
In my situation, I have signed up for Google Alerts for my key phrases to stay on top of current event and product release information in my market sector. I am getting e-mails to alerts@mydomainname.com and I would like for these alerts to automoatically be posted into a dedicated forum so the community can benifit from these alrts as well. Not all of the alerts that I get are relative and I don't want the task of going through all the alert e-mails and selecting the ones that I feel are important and posting them. I would rather have all of them available on the site for the users to pick and choose which ones are relavant to them. It would be great if I could send it to a dedicated forum so I can turn on HTML support for the linkes to parse for that section alone and have it feed into a module on vbadvanced CMPS if needed. There is acommunity bulletin hack on here that sends your finished newsletter/bulletin to a selected forum when you send them out. Maybe someone could figure out how to modify that specific code to suite the needs of fiber1 and I and probably the rest of the vB community here that I am sure could find use for such a hack. Please let me know something. sKiz |
