For the record, they do not have a tutorial on there on how to convert a DVD to a WMV file. But I am also looking for this feature as I have a couple of weddings I put on DVD a few years back and now my customer wants be to convert them to WMV format so people can view the wedding on their personal site.

I'd reccomend quick time over wmv format, the streaming facility and quality ratio is far higher in my experience (I have no idea how to do convert to .mov) Look for a program called #1 Video Convertor ...

#1 rule: Know your audience.
Quicktime may well be a better tool for authoring but if the majority of your audience is non-tech savvy Windows users, chances are you want WMV files. |

True, but with the influx in people buying the iPod many windows users are moving to iTunes which comes bundled with quicktime

.wmv isn't very good. Best to use is .mpg if you don't want to get into codecs like DivX and Xvid.
