$activeusers how to break it up?

ok $activeusers has all the activeusers in it. But I want to get fancy... LOL and put something that is in thier field (20 to be exact) next to their names.
I can do it in a template like so:

<if condition="$post[field20]"><img src="http://your.domian/sexualpref/$post[field20].gif" border="0" alt="Sexual prefernce" /><br /></if>

This would be in the 'postbit_userinfo'. Now... how can I make it so $activeusers has that pre-installed? so at the end of the day you have T3media :devious: , anotheruser :ninja: , yetanotheruser :ermm:

the smileys are whatever gif is assigned. I scratched my head a bit too much on this one... LOL
