Do you HAVE to be liscensed in order to help people out on here?
I'm guessing this is going to be yes, since i can't post anywhere but here or the test forum, neither can i send/recieve pms.
I work on a vb forum, as an admin and coder, i also maintain their irc network. However the site is licensed (obviously) to the owner of the site. I was just browsing arround when i noticed a modifcation request: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=73668 having glanced over it it looks like an easy fix that can be done with a singal sql query, i didn't expect to be able to post as a guest so i registered... and found i still couldn't post... i'm wondering if this is a permanent thing or if you just need admin activation etc; as i don't hold a vb license i'm thinking the chances of this being resolved are slim but i figured i may as well ask. i suppose simpilly put: do i have to have a license to gain posting access to this forum? |

You can have the administrator of the forum you help out at add your email you registered with here to the priority support section of his license (in the members area). You'll then gain all priviliges here
