ACP -> VBoptions -> Style options -> Legacy postbit YES

It's not really a coding issue... but here is the way to do it:

CP > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings * > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template > YES
*(RC2 and lower, it is in Thread Display Options (showthread) )

That should do the trick
