Change owner of post
Apologies if this is not the right forum.
I am looking for a way to change the owner (poster) or a forum post. Just a set of instructions using phpMyAdmin would be great. Someone who can mention any tables or stats that would need to be updated if the username/userid values were changed. Please and thank you. |

I double the request, this would be something that would be incredibly useful for my site, just the ability to set a different owner to the thread would save a lot of headaches.
If this is possible, that would be great (as a straight mod to the system would be better, so my staff can change it) and even the ability to have a shared thread for 2 non admin people to change and edit would be a godsend. |

Cool. But permissions and who can edit is not the same as who posted. We had a go-getter enter a bunch of messages. She put the poster name inside each message, and posted them all using her id. Thanks.
