I am wanting to create a free trial subscription for my forums as outlined here:

my problem is that i really need it so that my current users are all subscribed to this same free trial as of Jan. 1st 2005. I don't mind manually subsrcibing them as only have about 50 users. I do not want to have them have to re-register again though. anyone have any idea of how to accomplish this? I thought about manually changing these users join date but I'd rather not do that either.
