Really Strange Problem....Cannot Make a Skin Default!??!

aiight, i am in no way a beginner to vbulletin...i've done my own hacks but never posted them here....nothing too serious, but i know my way around...

here's the issue...in the admin panel...usually to set a skin to default...
(this is to my knowledge anyway)
you go to the style that is called default...and you set the replacements and template sets to that of whatever style you want to be default...right?

well somehow i managed to delete that style...even tho i thought it couldn't be removed...and now i can't set a default skin....

here's where it gets weird...when u are not logged in....it looks like i have a default vbulletin and i can't change it =/...but as soon as you log in....all of a sudden my skins and custom coding and everything else come up and u can see what the site is SUPPOSED to look like....

i've never had this problem before...and i'm thinking that if i go through the templates area....under default and change everything to the templates that my skin that i want to be default has...then it will change....but in attempting to edit...forumhome in the default templates....nothing changed....

so now i believe the default templates in my admin panel do not even correspond with the default style that ONLY UNLOGGED in users or UNREGISTERED users see....

ANY IDEAS ANYONE!

I get a invaild username or password when trying to use that guest acount.

Your 'default' style is still set to the vB default and you edited it anthor style. The reason you see it when logged in is your cookie is set to your custom styleid.

Its been along time scence i've used vB 2. BTW yours is 2.2.6, thats really old, upgrade to the lastest version as the one you are running has known security bugs.

Anyway, I suggest installing this hack and forcing the stylid of the custom style to be default.
