A better mark forums read system pls.
I know its there but I find the curent "mark forums read" options
a bit frustrating and long winded. for example, when a user clicks on New posts since your last visit: it would be nice if there was an option in that search result window to mark all forums read. Also it would be nice if there was a way to have "mark all forums read" incorporated into the various forum table heads accordingly to that the user can simply as he goes along on his new thread discovery. I was thinking of a dynamic menu item in the navbar that would change change according to the forum section the user is viewing. ex: search results = mark all read forum home = mark all forums read sub forum = mark this forum read thread view = mark thread as read 1 line in the navbar but it changes accordin to the users viewing area perhaps a java script with a condition could do this? Has anyone though about this option? |

you could easily do this on your own by adjusting your templates. No php coding needed.
