is there any way so people know who is who i can make admins 1 color, registered members another, mods another, and super mods a 4th color?

Right, only if the user chooses to change it in their user CP, I should have mentioned that. Otherwise, without modification they have to do it themselves if members of a secondary group. after importing my users to vb (from ubb threads) I had to take all of the mods and paid members one at a time and put them into a new primary group in order to force them to use the markup, that was fun

This only tends to apply IF they have markup as a standard registered user AND do not have the can override html markup setting or they joined the group themselfs
