yep.

for example on here it has

join date:
posts:
real name:
location:
vb version:
style

how can i add my custom fields to that list?

I am searching for this as well. I am setting up a board for a multi gaming clan and would like to have custom postbit info like "division & rank" .

Anyone know of any hacks that allow for this?

go to your 'postbit_legacy' template and you will find it there.
you can add new things, just experiement... trial and error.
