How do u make the first post in a thread different than the rest??

like here.. but not as many categories and such....

if statments in the postbit i think!! i believe theres a hack here somewhere that does it

Whatever variable stores the "#1","#2", etc. on the right side of the postbit, I'm sure you can check it and display something different for the first post in the templates. This is not a hack, but a template mod.
