How can this be achieved, at the same time returning results from the vb boards on my site ?
Are
( other pages of the site includes link directory, user gallery, articles, guides etc etc )

yea i been looking for that, liek how do u get a search engine to search your own site, and itll say sumthing like, 13 MATCHED YOUR QUESRY or w/e

You can do that for free with Google. Check out the Google site.

You can do it with a 3rd party like google, or you can code your own search engine for your site. How you would code it would depend on how your storing data tho.

Hmm....perhaps I should try to code it myself, and make it such that I base my site search on vb's search.
I hope vb's search isn't too difficult to go through .....

their is really no point in bumping a thread less then 24hrs old. have you tried hotscripts.com their are tons of search engine scripts and tutorials.
