Can I use google instead of Search function?

Due to some reasons, I can't turn on the Search function for my vb3.

Can I use google to search my website instead of vb3 Search function?

You can check this link out http://www.google.com/services/websearch.html they offer a site search but it won't be nearly as comprehensive and will only show what they have spidered.
