how do u know if they work or not? the ones that say supported are the ones that work?

You know by either feedback from the thread, or after you install it yourself.

oo i see, and how the hek did u answer so quik lol? god i love u, well umm what does supported mean? and what if the thing has like 40 installs but some ppl still complaining!?!?

Supported means the author has agreeded to help when they can;

Beta modifications should work as the author is supposed to test them before they are posted, in some cases that dos'nt happen tho.

If you are un-sure you should scan the thread and see if others are having problems. If that dos'nt help install it on a test board and see if you think it will work on your live install.
