Default vb help desk?
hey guys,

I run a fairly busy board (15,000+ members, 1,000,000+ posts etc) and i get SOOO many support emails... what i am wondering is if there is a help desk add-on that somebody has made which works on a ticketing system or something.. i would so help to have something like that.

Wouldn't it be easier to just set up a forum for support?

You could close the threads with solved issues and if you have privat things just only allow members to view their own threads.

hey colin,

i want something that can be emailed to, so its not entirely forums based.

You can setup a forum where regular members can only see their own threads and the replys to that thread. and of course the other groups like staff groupswould be able to see their posts members posts and erpely to them as well

ahh i see what you mean... that would be good if only i could get email responses to post in there too...
