Horray Lycos are leading the fight back against spammers. heres the story

I think its a great idea really, everyone wants to fight back against spammers and finally a big company has stepped in to help out. I cant understand how people could feel sorry for them, then again it is the bbc

Seems the site has been taken down. No doubt this is because the legal issues, this is in essence DDOS attacking

Yeah thats what teh news report was saying about it beeing a DDOS attack. Hmmm maybe its up for download on other pages though

I heard that one of the sites redirected their domain back to lycos so in essense it backfired on them.

this really wont do anything, since we're all using "essence" ill use it too

in essence if we increase their bandwidth, thus they need more money, thus more spam. its a never ending cycle of wasted time and money!
