Weird thread not being deleted nor admin tools available

I tried to edit&delete a thread but it keeps telling me invalid threadid.

Thread tools are available, but admin tools for that thread DO NOT appear.

I ran all the admin functions (counters, orphans etc) and even the fix/optimize tables, but thread is sitll "there".

Ideas?
