Inform me on MySQL prompt, please.

I'm trying to install the hack Miserable User for 2.2.x, and it starts right off the bat with this step:

From the MySQL prompt execute the following statement:

alter table user add miserable smallint(5) unsigned DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL;

where would I go in PhPMyAdmin to correctly imput this? I'm terribly paranoid about messing things up so I would appreciate the help. Thank you.
