Hello, I am SOOOOO n00b that it is not funny. I am looking to do ALOT though. Here are a list of things and you guys can tell me the answers if you can. I need details lol I am pretty stupid lol. I sure would apreciate it. I might even be able to pay someone if they will help me install it. I just spent a good bit of money on the forum we have now.. www.keyhunt.com . But I would apreciate help..

1) I need a good reputation system sort of like the ones at XoXide forums. Any suggestions?

2) I NEED a way for mods to be able to ban ip's have anyone seen a hack to do this?

3) I am trying to make a members service. You donate and you get special features. Like A Special name under your title..Maybe a trophy or SOMETHING beside your name on pro or whatever. ( any idea how to do this)

4) I would also like a front page. Right now I have it shut off so where people cannot see anything without being logged in. I like it like that but I was thinkin instead of it being almost blank. If there could be maybe a pic of that day, shoutbox among other things on front page..I am sure you can do this have seen it b4 but I do not know how lol.

5) How do you get a banner rotator and how do I get the banners on the front page or wherever.

6) I am tryin to install Jump to Your Last Post in a Thread hack. It says Open up 'threadbit' template. Where can I find that? I am so n00b and I apologize again would apreciate any help I can get as soon as possible.

1. The vb3 rep system is one of the best I've seen and it can be enabled in the admincp. The documentation on vb.com should explain how to do this.

3. Best way of doing this... create a new usergroup in the admincp. Its on the left hand side menu under usergroups. Note the ID #.

Give this usergroup whatever additional priveledges you like. You can also have it overide the regular user title if you like.

Next, in the postbit template (or postbit_legac) you will use template conditionals to display certain html elements if the user belongs to that usergroup. Do a search for "is_member_of"

You can also have members submit payments through paypal or other similiar systems nad it will automatically promote that user from the regular usergroup to the new usergroup for you.

4. Install vbadvance cmps. Look inthe portal subforum of vb3 for it.

6. You can search for templates in the admincp under the template and styles group.
