I'd like to see this mod:

Place infoboxes random between postings in a thread.

For example you have a thread with 30 replies - now between post 6 an 7 and between post 23 and 24 an infobox is shown.

This infobox is filled with content like ads, featured classifieds, news-teasers, ...

Regarding banners/buttons because of random placement the users can't learn the banner places and click-throughs could be better.
