Default Changing user title..

Hey guys

I was wondering if there was a way for me to let just one of my members change his user title at will, instead of having someone with admincp access to do it for him? I know there's a way to let everyone, but I don't want anyone but this one member to have the ability.

Any suggestions or ideas? If it involves changing any code or anything, please be as detailed and specific as possible, I'm not familiar with all that stuff yet

Thanks!
~Amber

You could create a new secondary usergroup for him that has the rights to change their user title, this way in the future if there is anyone else who needs to have this permission you are ready to go

Oh - I thought this was to set the user title to whatever was in the field above it! I guess I need to go back and re-check all the ones who aren't just default to their user group.

I'll look into the making a new usergroup too - I didn't think of that!

Well I made a new usergroup and that worked perfect! The other change didn't help for some reason

Now he wants to be able to change the color of it, and for some reason the <font color="red"> and <br> code isn't working like it does for me in admincp.

Anymore ideas? And thanks again for your quick responses, he's halfway happy now! haha

Why not? It's only one member that will be allowed access to change their user title, all other users are not given the ability...
