Hiring a coder: to MySql experts.

Hi,

I am thinking of hiring an coder for my service request.

I am looking for info. I read this topic . Just one question regarding the feasability of making this hack. Is it technicaly realizable between two remotes servers without security problems about remote access to MySQL ? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am an newbee about it.

Sharing that data over the public internet can be a danger. The best way to do it IMHO is to have both servers in the same datacenter, linked togther on a private in house network.

If however there is security in place then although the risks are not taken away it makes it more difficult for something to go wrong.
