Default anonymous mod
Good after noon all

i wondered if someone can make me a mod which his target is when u check a box in the bottom of where u write ur message it will post a message as an anonymous user.
i could use this mod in a forum of mine where ppl want to make anonymous confessions and etc`.

i think its will be more simpler to logout and post

yip I agree, just create a new forum that allows logged out users to post

nope that wont do the trick for me...
i want it to be only in certain forums and i want to know who was the user posted anonymously...

If you only allow guest posting in certain forums and have IP's logged then you will still be able to match them up by searching users by IP.

what happens when the person is smart and logs in couple of times and changes hes ip`s i`ll have a hard time finding the user

oh and btw, i want only regiostered useres use it! so the guest solution wont work for me

create a new forum and around the username part, you can use template conditionals to specify whether its shown in that forum or not.

2 parts for the hack:

1- forum setting to activate the anonymous feature
2- in that forum enabled, if viewer is not admin, display a anonymous word instead of the users link...

that's all... 5 minutes hack!
