MS Word's Track Changes

well, my idea is nothing as comprehensive as MS Word's "track changes" with the delete tag by the side, but i run a fiction website, and i thought it be great if there is some way the submitted stories have a highlight on the text that i edited, so that the authors will know what i changed instantaneously.

anyone knows how to do this? i be willing to pay...
