have invisible forum still show in new posts list?

Hi, I have a forum that I did not want in my main forums list, instead it is accessible via a url only. This works fine but I would like it to show up in the new posts list if new posts are added to it. Because I have it invisible and by url only new posts do not show in the new posts list, even when I have the forum set to enable search engine access. Is there a way or mod to do this? thanks!!
