i also am looking to do something similar. by user group permissions, you can disable the memberlist and member search by setting Can View Member Info = No.
raskolnikov, that may handle your needs. but, i would like to prevent access to the Member List and Member Search, without taking away access to the user profiles, which also gets disabled when Can View Member Info is set to no. any suggestions on how to allow viewing profiles, but not the member list / member search by user group? |

the folks over at vbulletin.com say that what i'm asking requires modifying the code. can anyone help me with this?
...and should this be moved to another forum, seeing that the original "how to" question was answered and now modified code is needed? any help would be appreciated. :nervous: |

I would like to hide the members lists from non registered or non logged in users.
Can anyone help us or explain to us what we need to do to accomplish this. If only this was a standard selection in the control panel to enable or disable it. ![]() Doug |

Edit the Usergroup 'Unregistered / Not Logged In' and set 'Can View Member Info' to No. |

I would like this as well. I don't want guests and unregistered users to see our members.
Thank you! |
