Average Ad Rates in the Entertainment Industry
I've been contacted by the advertising company encharge of promotion for a hugely popular tv show. They are interested in buying ad space on my site since my site is dealing with the show, as well as one of my other sites that has the same target audience.
I have 26,000 members between the two sites, and receive between 50,000 and 60,000 page impressions daily. I've done research online and found cpm rates going from 4 bucks to 40.... so with the wide range of options, I have no clue what to go with. Can anyone offer any advice? Emma |

I get about half your hits a day I guess... I don't deal with ad companies but sell banner space directly to my users. ?10 a week per banner, and I run 4 simultaneously. It isn't much I realise but my site is targeted at a 100 mile area in my country - I'm happy with that.

Why not give them a value proposition like:
Avg Daily Page Views = 55,000 Page Views per Month = 1,650,000 Total CPM Units = 1,650 CPM Price = $7.50 Monthly Revenue = $12,375 Entire inventory puchase = 50% savings Cost per month = $6,187.50 Oh yeah, congrats on starting a communtiy and having a major advertiser realize the value of it! If you don't mind, I'd love to know what your deal ends up being. If you don't feel comfortable posting, maybe you will PM??? |
