Hi,
Is there a hack that can after a user signs up and enter the board force him to post a first thread within a certain period and if he dosent a auto email is sent to him asking him to introduce himself on the board to not get his registration deleted.

I have a board where alot is only joining to see attachments and this way people will atleast have to post 1 time before being able to download attachments.

Is there some hack out there that you could suggest for this purpose or is it possible with 3.0.3 somehow already?

You could create a group that contains users with a post count = 0 then disallow that group from viewing attachments.

Create another group that contains users with a post count > 0 and allow those users to view attachments.

Create a promotion that moves users from the = 0 group to the > 0 group once they have made the required posts.
