I have a problem. The site I work on's owner has installed several hacks without leaving behind any record of the changes. Now we need to upgrade (we're on RC4 still). I need to track down all the code changes.

I figured I'd start with the RC4 zip pack I still have, and compare against it to locate and isloate the modifications. Then get the latest version and figure out where these code mods need to be inserted..

I just hope he at least copied over the commentary text

www.araxis.com is probably my favorite. I've heard good things about www.beyondcompare.com though (I've never managed to get it working on my PC though)

I'm using beyond compare and have had never any problems with it.

I use winmerge but the more I keep hearing about beyond compare, the more I want to try it.
