"Event Thread" with RSVP posts

I am thinking starting a MB for a local group. I was wondering if it was possible to have something like this:

A forum for posting local events... where when the poster started a new thread a menu that they would need to fill out. For instance- is RSVP necessary, is there a minimum number of people before event can go, what part of town, is it stroller/wheelchair accessible etc...

Then they could list all the details below.

Then when someone responds to thread- a menu would appear asking RSVP info like how many are attending, if they have special needs, etc.

Then just to make it all the more wonderful it would keep track of the number of RSVP's !

It is possible to do, however it would require a custom modification as I don't believe it has been done here already

as i see the request, i think you need a planner, not a forum... btw, this can be possible to integrate a planner in the forum by merging some scripts... just need to find the best planner...

Could you direct me to where I find planners that would work with this program. Also if I did this- could it be set up to have fields that automatically put the event in one of the calendars?
