use a truncate query on the pm tables

and make sure to reset every users pm count then

TRUNCATE TABLE pm;
TRUNCATE TABLE pmtext;
TRUNCATE TABLE pmreceipt;
UPDATE user SET pmtotal=0,pmunread=0;

I recommend creating an Official "Queries List" (STICKY) ... it would help a lot of people. Plus, minimize the same questions being asked over and over again.
