Custom Skin Help

Ok, I recently started my own graphics board and was interested in making a custom skin. I just need somebody who has knowledge in this area who has the time to explain how I should go about doing this. Or maybe you can point me out to a tutorial

I think nowhere has
but as far as I've done with my customized skin, it's very easy to make one for yourself and of course I did for myself.
the least thing you need is: HTML knowledge
moreover is: vb based varibles like $post[userid]....

mkay.. I've gotten my header and everything else setup, but now I gotta another question.

Which template would I have to edit to change the categories to an image. Or would there be an easier way to achieve this.
